Czech/Slovak PostScript Fonts

This is a very preliminary testing version (but in everyday
production work) developed and collected by Z. Wagner
<wagner@icpf.cas.cz>. It contains several tools/packages which will
be unzipped to various directories. The short description is below.
Whenever it says LaTeX, it means LaTeX2e!

Directory "dist\cspsfont"
-------------------------
This is a utility for installation of Czech/Slovak PostScript fonts
for LaTeX (do not complain before reading its documentation!!!).
Install it by running cspsfont.ins through LaTeX. Generate the font
definition files by running cspsfont.xl2 and cspsfont.il2 through
LaTeX. You can print the documentation if you have a Czech version of
LaTeX installed. It requires packages czech, array, and multicol. If
you are not interested in the internal guts, edit cspsfont.drv and
remove ^^A in front of \OnlyDescription.

The documentation is printed by running cspsfont.drv through LaTeX. It
was tested with IL2 encoding but any other encoding is usable. If it
is not OT1, even hyphenation should work well.

After installation is finished, move *.sty and *.fd files to the
places where LaTeX will find them.

The main job has already been done for you. If you unzip the
distribution file, the main files will be in emtex\dist\cspsfont,
*.sty and *.fd files will be in emtex\texinput\latex2e\cspsfont.

Do not delete CSPSFONT.DOC and CSPSFONT.INS if you want to reinstall
some packages later, all other TeX files can be regenerated.

Directory "ps.raw"
------------------
This will not be created as default. Instead you have the
\emtex\dist\cspsfont\psraw.zip which contains the raw
tfm-files. Most probably you have them. if not, unzip the above
mentioned file and either change the configuration of dvips or move
the tfm files to the place where TeX and dvips look for tfm.

Directory "tfm\ps.xl2"
----------------------
These are tfm-files of fonts in XL2 encoding (they may be used for IL2
as well). Move them to the place where TeX and dvips look for tfm or
change your configuration.

Directory "\texfonts\vf"
------------------------
These are virtual scripts for the above mentioned fonts. Move them to
the place where dvips looks for vf. Notice that the Courier fonts are
not yet finished. The first 14 slots remain empty. This will be
corrected within a few days.

CsTeX Users: the files from this directory are moved to \emtex\fonts\vf

Directory "texinput\csplain"
----------------------------
This directory includes the files which support using PostScript
fonts in XL2 encoding in plain TeX. Do not input fontpcs.tex
directly, it is the engine used internally by other files. You can
use the following files:

File to input Font family
------------- -----------
cavantga.tex Avant Garde
cbookman.tex Bookman
chelvet.tex Helvetica
cncent.tex New Century Schoolbook
cpalatin.tex Palatino
ctimes.tex Times

Directory "texinput\latex2e\cslatex"
------------------------------------
This directory contains fd-files and the cspsfont utility for use
with csLaTeX.

Other development tools
-----------------------
They will be released within several months or so after I transcript the
documentation from my brain into the disk files...

Most of these tools will work in OS/2 Warp only...

I HOPE THAT IT WORKS...

P.S. :-)
If everything seems to work, you have certainly overlooked something.
