Abstract:
FABEL is a research project supported by the German Federal Ministry for Education, Science, Research and Technology (BMBF). The project partners are groups in Bonn (St. Augustin), Dresden, Freiburg, Karlsruhe, Leipzig, and Munich. The ultimate goal of the FABEL project is the development of some methodology for integrating case-based reasoning and other forms of knowledge processing. Central issues are case representation, case retrieval, similarity concepts, and computer support of case adaptation. The prototypical application of FABEL is in industrial building. Typical application problems are designing a building's support structure and designing a complete network of fresh air supply, e.g. This bibliography contains all the technical reports of FABEL.
